Update December 17th at 9:22am: According to the Robert Koch Institute, the seven-day incidence in Hesse is 213.1 Saturdays. There were also 2,229 new infections with the virus in one day. Five other people have died in connection with Corona.

Update from December 14, 10:35 am: Over the past two years, more than 270 permanent full-time jobs have been created and filled in Hessen to strengthen the public health service. Update from December 9, 7:24 am: Hesse gets a state health office. This was decided by the Hessian state parliament in Wiesbaden on Thursday with the votes of the ruling black-green coalition. Corona in Hessen: The number of vaccinated children and adolescents has dropped significantly

Corona in Hesse: From Wednesday there will be no more isolation obligation

Wiesbaden – The obligation to isolate corona-infected people in Hesse will probably no longer apply from next Wednesday. Early next week, the cabinet wants to make a corresponding decision, the state chancellery announced on Friday.

The obligation for those who have tested positive to isolate themselves is no longer applicable. To do this, corona-infected people would have to adhere to other protective measures, such as a mask obligation indoors.

The Ministry of Social Affairs had already announced the move. Many people in Germany have been vaccinated or have suffered an infection, it was said as the reason. Reference was also made to the declining number of infections. The solitary confinement obligation has also been abolished in other Länder.
