On the afternoon of this Sunday, April 21, businessman Carlos Pineda attended the assembly of a political party in formation, which is called SERVIR.

The project has been being polished for several months, since on November 5 of last year, the former presidential candidate announced the process to form the new political organization.

The new political party will be called “Servir”, and is expected to promote Pineda as a presidential candidate and Efraín Orozco “El Patrón” as vice-presidential candidate, as happened with Prosperidad Ciudadana.

In a video, Pineda pointed out that he was not proposed to be on the Board of Directors, but there are good “friends” who are willing to serve the entire team that I trust in them.

During the assembly, Erwing Antonio Tobar Ralón was elected as general secretary of the board of directors of SERVIR and another 320 delegates of the promoter group unanimously approved that the president of the assembly be Pineda.

Pineda and Orozco sought to be the presidential duo of the Citizen Prosperity (PC) political party for the 2023 general elections. However, their candidacy was eliminated after a ruling by the Sixth Chamber of the Administrative Litigation Court.
