Prince Christian was born on October 15, 2005 in the Danish capital Copenhagen. His name is very traditional and was no surprise at all. Danish kings have been called alternately Frederik and Christian since 1513. Christian is second in line to succeed Grandma Queen Margrethe, after his father.
