According to the company, the Pentax KF should be designed to deliver high performance in a compact body. The camera has a dust and weather resistant build and should be an entry-level camera for you with an active lifestyle.
It has a CMOS image sensor with 24.24 megapixels and 14-bit readout, combined with a design without AA filters. The camera inherits features found in Pentax’s larger high-end cameras. The SAFOX X AF sensor module is used for autofocus. With 11 sensors, including 9 cross sensors in the center, the AF module must ensure that the object is in focus at a brightness as low as -3 EV. The optical viewfinder has a nearly 100% field of view, and there’s a rotatable LCD screen. The image stabilizer is integrated in the housing and is supposed to have a compensation effect of 4.5 shutter stops. In addition to the traditional black edition, the camera is available in two special editions, Crystal Blue and Crystal White, for a total of 700 copies of each edition.
