LINZ. According to Hajart, when the current 109 fixed parking zones were introduced, they promised to keep the meter on the scooter running if the device was not parked properly.
25 euros fine
However, this only partially defused the situation, “because the location of the scooters in the marked parking areas does not work as precisely as the operators originally claimed,” criticizes Hajart. In mid-February, providers will be informed in detail about the tougher pace at a “scooter summit”. The amount of the fine should be based on Vienna, where it is 25 euros.

Problem for people with disabilities
There are currently almost 800 e-scooters in the Linz city area, around half of which are rented daily. On average for journeys of just under two kilometers in 6.5 minutes.
