Nikolay Nikolov-Pascal is a mythical person associated with illegal activity for years. This was stated by the chairman of the energy commission in the National Assembly, Delyan Dobrev, in an interview with Nova TV. He commented on the action of DANS, KPCONPI and the prosecutor’s office in the “Customs” Agency, which ended with the accusation of participation in an organized criminal group of the head of customs Petya Bankova, Tsar of smuggling Pascal and two other persons – Marin Dimitrov-Yarata, former head of IARA and his son Stefan.

“It’s been rumored for some time that he’s back into this business. The first time I heard about smuggling channels was 2 years ago – during or shortly after the first cabinet. It was truckloads of bricks that were allegedly that they were actually branded clothes. The last thing we hear is that they are running channels that the Pascal in question organized years ago, protected by the state,” said Dobrev. He recalled that during his administration, GERB brought down the smuggling of cigarettes from 23 on 3%.
“For the last 10-15 years, Pascal did not live in Bulgaria, but in Greece. Denkov is the direct head of DANS. Tonchev was appointed to the first cabinet of Stefan Yanev. “For me, it is no coincidence that the head and deputy head of the Customs Agency are arrested and remain behind bars for 72 hours,” commented Dobrev.
