Stuttgart – The Social Democrats have their own experiences with bearers of hope. The fate of Martin Schulz reminds us of this. He started with 100 percent support and still ran into the wall. Franziska Giffey has 89 percent of her comrades behind her – which is pretty close to 100 in the notoriously divided Berlin SPD.
