Mülheim an der Ruhr. New webcam installed in the Stadthalle
A breathtaking view of the Ruhr and the city center of Mülheim an der Ruhr is broadcast with the new webcam. As part of a competition held by feratel, a leading provider of webcam and media package solutions, Mülheimer Stadtmarketing und Tourismus GmbH (MST) won a Panorama-Webcam won. This has been installed and put into operation on the roof of the Stadthalle Mülheim.
The panoramic webcam offers an impressive view from the railway bridge to the water station and allows you to experience the beauty of the city on the river in real time. The webcam is equipped with high-quality cameras that deliver razor-sharp, high-resolution images, providing outstanding image quality for the best viewing experience. A scrolling text in the upper edge of the picture indicates current events and adventure tours in Mülheim.
“We are very happy about the installation of the new panorama webcam on the Stadthalle,” says Marc Baloniak, authorized signatory and head of the tourism department at MST. “The webcam shows Mülheim from a new perspective. We are grateful for the partnership with feratel and are happy to be able to present our city in this way.”
MST is now part of feratel’s media partner network. The live images from Mülheim can thus be seen online at wetter.com or on TV at ARD alpha. In addition, feratel supplies other online portals, television stations and app providers, which means that more than a billion page views are recorded every month.
In addition to Mülheim, the Schauinslandbahn in Freiburg im Breisgau was also selected as the winner, which also received a panorama webcam including a media package for six months. Recordings are 24/7 online viewable.
