New painting robot courses for children | Durlacher.de

The children’s and youth library and the VDI Karlsruhe district association offer online courses for children from the age of 10 in cooperation with the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.

Age-appropriate insights into programming language

Under the guidance of students from the university, the participants receive an age-appropriate introduction to the Cody++ programming language. They learn to program paths and can paint their first patterns after a short time. The robots are on site at the university, the children operate them from home. The technology implements your input directly: the children can watch their robot painting via a webcam.

The next four dates will take place on Sundays: August 14th, August 21st, August 28th and September 4th, 2022. The course will also be offered from Wednesday, September 7th to Friday, September 9th.

Further information

It starts at 10 a.m. and ends around 12 p.m. The participants dial into the online course via Microsoft Teams. One registration via the event website is necessary in advance (see links).
