Sinomach Automobile introduced a new Oting brand in Russia at the end of last year. The first and so far only model was the Oting Paladin frame SUV, but now it has been decided to write its name in Cyrillic: Paladin. And this applies not only to online materials, but also to nameplates on the machines themselves! This would be a worthy response to the new Xcite brand, but the full name of the car turned out to be a composite: Oting Paladin. By the end of this year, Sinomach Automobile intends to introduce two more models to our market and open 60 dealership centers. The first 20 of them will open their doors in February.
Teasers of the future production model have been published Renault Symbiosis. This name first appeared on a spectacular concept car in 2017, but in the end the Symbioz turned into a very ordinary crossover, which should occupy a niche between the Captur and Austral models. The 4410 mm long SUV is built on the CMF-B platform and will be equipped with a 145 hp E-Tech hybrid power plant, already known from other Renault models. Its weight will not exceed 1500 kg, which is very practical by Parisian standards. The premiere of the Renault Symbioz model will take place this spring.
Future electric vehicles Lamborghini will retain the emotionality familiar to the Italian brand. This was stated by the head of the company, Stefan Winkelmann, adding that dry numbers in the characteristics of electric vehicles are certainly important (for example, power will exceed 1 megawatt or 1360 hp), but are not more important than the emotions of driving. The first all-electric Lamborghini should be the all-terrain Lanzador coupe (pictured), but the production version will not be released until 2028.
Despite Akio Toyoda’s statement about the development of new internal combustion engines, the corporation Toyota continues to invest in the production of electric vehicles. $1.3 billion has been allocated to modernize and re-equip a plant in Kentucky (USA) for the production of electric vehicles, although this plan was announced last spring. They will produce a three-row electric crossover with the expected name Toyota bZ5x. Now this American enterprise produces, among other things, four- and six-cylinder gasoline engines.
Judging by the data on the company’s official website, the cars JAC prices have fallen noticeably in Russia. We are talking about the J7 liftback and the JS6 crossover. The latter has become more affordable by 429-499 thousand rubles, depending on the configuration; now the cars are valued at 2.5-2.7 million rubles. With the pricing of the JAC J7 liftback, everything is a little more complicated. For the basic versions Basic MT and Comfort CVT, the price tags have disappeared completely, but the rich Luxury package now costs 2.2 million rubles, that is, a reduction of 399 thousand.
Crossover Jeep Renegade has been in production for ten years and has undergone two full-scale updates, but Stellantis is not yet planning to retire it. To stir up interest in the little Jeep, he was again given several new things. These are larger instrument screens (10.25 inches) and a new media system (10.1 inches).
