On Friday, July 16 at 11:15 p.m., kabel eins will continue the interrupted broadcast of the seventh and final season of NCIS: New Orleans as a German premiere. The final season started on April 9th in Germany, but because of the European Football Championship it was decided to take a break. It is also possible that the second part of the season first had to be dubbed because the episodes were imported quite fresh from the USA and the free TV stations like to have them translated in one go. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the farewell season was shortened to 16 episodes, seven are still open in Germany.
It continues with the episode The Hunter: When a sergeant is gunned down by a sniper, Pride (Scott Bakula) and the NCIS hunt down the killer, only to find out that he may not be acting alone. Rita also tells Pride that she was offered a tempting job. But this one would be in Kansas City.
The ensemble includes Scott Bakula, Vanessa Ferlito, Necar Zadegan, Charles Michael Davis, Rob Kerkovich, Daryl Mitchell, Chelsea Field and CCH Pounder. The NCIS franchise will continue to consist of three series in the USA, because in addition to NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles, the new offshoot NCIS: Hawai’i will soon be launched.
You can now stream the NCIS: New Orleans series instantly on Amazon Prime Video or Joyn PLUS + or iTunes.
