Opel’s upcoming light commercial vehicle models with the Blitz badge will be instantly recognizable thanks to the specially interpreted Opel Vizor front design for light trucks, familiar from Opel’s latest passenger cars. The Vizor combines the brand emblem with the brand’s characteristic front lighting, creating a single visual unit that stretches across the entire front of the cars.
In addition to the exterior design, the interior of the new Opel Combo, Vivaro and Movano has also been improved. The main elements of the updated car cabins will be the new information and entertainment systems with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connection and a color touch screen with a size of up to 10 inches.
The battery electric versions of the new Opel Combo, Opel Vivaro and Opel Movano will continue to offer uncompromising ease of use. Thanks to the latest battery technology and improvements such as even greater efficiency of the drive system, all three models will once again offer a class-leading electric driving range without local emissions.
The new range of Opel light commercial vehicles has taken over all the strong features of its predecessors. Among them is a wide range of advanced driver assistance systems that will make trips and maneuvers more comfortable and, most importantly, safer. In addition, the trio will be available in a variety of body lengths, heights and types to meet the needs of all professionals, and will retain their impressive payload, payload and towing capacity. Opel will reveal more details about the new commercial vehicle models in the coming weeks.
Production of the new Opel light commercial vehicle family will begin in Q1 2024, and the first vans will be delivered to dealers in Q2 2024.
