New on Netflix: these films and series were released last week | NOW

Every week, Netflix expands its offer with new series and films. This week we see, among other things, the return of The Walking Dead, the first season of the anime sensation My Hero Academia and a number of new Christmas movies.

Series

The Walking Dead (season 10)
Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) are back in action. The survivors are still not rid of the degrading ‘Whisperer’ Alpha. Season 1 of the anime sensation My Hero Academia is now on Netflix. The series is set in a world where 80 percent of the population has super powers. Izuku Midoriya doesn’t have them, but when he saves a bully from a villain, he gains powers and changes his whole world. His big dream comes true: he is admitted to a training academy for heroes.

Pat & Mat
Since this week there are also new episodes of it Pat & Mat on Netflix. The puppet show revolves around two clumsy neighbors. They come up with special solutions to many self-caused problems.

Private Lives (season 1)
This Korean thriller series is set in a world where data is no longer private. A group of con artists discover a dark espionage plot led by the government and a profit-making company.

Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (season 1)
Another Korean Show: Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol. A romantic dramedy in which a rich pianist loses everything. But: a pair of glittering stars lead her to a small village where she finds hope, love and a home.

Selena: The Series (season 1)
The Walking Deadstar Christian Serratos plays Tejano singer Selena, also once played by Jennifer Lopez in the 1997 biopic. The series takes a closer look at the singer’s youth. Selena has also been part of several true crime documentaries, but if we tell you why, the series is no longer fun.

Kings of Jo’Burg (season 1)

Just Another Christmas
In this film, we follow a family man who was born on Christmas Day. Every year he comes to the conclusion that he hates Christmas. His nightmare continues for a while: the man ends up in a time loop in which it is Christmas forever.

Sherlock Holmes
Sherlock Holmes is helped by Dr. Watson (Jude Law) and investigates the crimes of Irene Adler (Rachel McAdams).

Away from you
