New “no” to the release of Kasidiaris –

Ilias Kasidiaris, convicted for the Golden Dawn case, will remain in Domoko prisons.

Lamia’s Misdemeanor Council rejected Ilias Kasidiaris’ request for release from prison, underlining that the former Golden Dawn member of parliament is also accused in the “Spartias” case.

It is recalled that the trial of this particular case, at the Athens Single-Member Court of Appeal, was adjourned for the second time.

Although the court had decided to proceed with the trial of the case, this was not possible due to the absence of the only prosecution witness, the president of the “Spartians” Vassilis Stigas, who could not attend as he had scheduled a speech in Parliament.
