New Nintendo Switch Emulators NUZU and SUYU Challenge Nintendo’s Legal Department and Thrive in the Face of Adversity

Most of the games released by Nintendo come with cute presentations and gameplay which in some titles are even super fun if played with the family, including younger members. This situation seems to be in contrast when talking about their “creepy” legal department, which has so far succeeded in locking up and breaking down various parties which have ended up threatening safety and profits. Even two well-known emulators – Yuzu and Citra officially died this morning with an extra fine of around USD 2.4 million to be paid to Nintendo. But is the Nintendo Switch simulator scene dead? It turns out it’s not that easy.

In just a matter of hours, at least two Nintendo Switch emulator projects for PC have emerged. Both will use the code base that Yuzu has built so far as a basis, while currently still working on the process of recruiting more developers to perfect it.

Two new Nintendo Switch emulators – NUZU and SUYU come to the fore!

Existing separately and apparently not related at all, these two emulators are NUZU and SUYU. So, how will the two avoid Nintendo’s “love letters” in the future? They immediately wrote openly, including in the ReadMe file later, how they opposed piracy and that their emulation program should only be used in legal ways.

It is not yet clear whether the speed of the development process for NUZU and SUYU will be as fast as Yuzu, which in the past has also been helped by a Patreon page for extra funds. What do you think? Will these two Switch emulators survive Nintendo?
