The District Health Secretariat reported that, in accordance with a new national guideline, now all available vaccines against Covid-19 may be administered simultaneously with the other biologicals that make up the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI), both for girls and children as well as adults.
With this instruction, it will no longer be necessary to wait two weeks for administration between EPI vaccines (measles, rubella, tetanus, yellow fever, among others) and Covid-19. Citizens will be able to start, continue or effectively complete their vaccination schemes in a single appointment.
The District Health Secretariat promotes vaccination.
