At the end of 2020, following on from the work on the Musée d’Épernay, the rue de Reims car park, adjacent to the gardens of Château Perrier, was completely renovated. This 75-space car park, which will be used to welcome visitors to the museum once it opens, has been renamed “Arts car park”, on the proposal of the municipal majority. A name justified by the proximity of the work to the museum, the Gabrielle-Dorziat theater, the Le Palace cinema and the Orangery of the Maigret park. “There are projects on the building of the old MJC, if redevelopments are planned, we can review the name of the parking lot,” nevertheless warned the mayor, Franck Leroy, during the last city council.
