The government is implementing the new “Nahya” axis project in Giza, in conjunction with the national projects the governorate is witnessing to achieve development and improve the quality of life for citizens, in implementation of the mandates of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, confirmed that the governorate is witnessing many national projects that will greatly address traffic jams in many sectors in the governorate, facilitate the movement of vehicles between the various neighborhoods and cities, and link the movement path with neighboring governorates.
“Masrawy” monitors 10 information about the details of the new axis, as follows:
– Construction of a new traffic corridor with a length of 4.6 km.
– The axis starts from the ring road in Boulaq Al-Dakrour to the Mariouteya Canal in the center and city of Kerdasa.
– Converting the exposed Nahia Bank to an alternative covered path.
– Backfilling the drain and creating an alternative traffic corridor to improve traffic movement.
– The corridor relieves pressure on the axes leading to and from the cities of 6th of October and Sheikh Zayed.
Execution rates are conducted to complete the work on the specified dates.
– Transferring the “Nahya” drain to the Abdel Aal Marine Canal, after digging and deepening it to cover the drain for the construction of the new axis.
– The conversion of the drain aims to eliminate pollution in the areas of Boulaq Dakrour, Al-Motamadiyah and Nahia in Kerdasa.
The “Nahya” axis serves about two million citizens in Bulaq al-Dakrour, Kerdasa, and al-Motamediyah.
– The project aims to improve the environment for the people of the above-mentioned areas.
The Governor of Giza praised the state’s great interest in implementing development projects that aim to bring about a quantum leap in the level of services provided to citizens, foremost of which is the development of the road network and hubs, as well as the establishment of new urban communities, which leads to more investments, in addition to the civilized image. as a result of development work.
