A new emitting center was opened last morning, around 3 a.m., on the northeast slope of the La Palma volcano cone, giving rise to the emission of a new stream and pyroclasts, as reported by Itahiza Domínguez, a seismologist at the Geographical Institute National (IGN).
The seismologist has explained in his official Twitter account that the opening of these new mouths during the night has led to the rise of the volcanic tremor, although now it seems to be descending again due to the release of pressure.
Itahiza Domíngez has pointed out that in some images that have been made today, two small pyroclastic emission fissures and apparently two emission points of lava flows can be observed on the eastern slope of the cone and very close to its posterior part. .
