Studio NetherRealm at the festival Dream Con presented a new trailer for the fighting game Mortal Kombat 1.
What is known
The video is dedicated to Geras, the immortal keeper of the hourglass.
Judging by the presented frames, this character is in a confrontation with Liu Kang, the god of fire and the lord of the updated Mortal Kombat universe.
The video showed not only the conflict of the characters, but also their combat abilities: for Geras, they are associated with sand, and Liu-Kang creates rifts in space, where, like in a black hole, his opponent is sucked.
When to expect
Mortal Kombat 1 releases on September 19 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
In August, beta testing will take place, in which only a certain group of gamers will be able to take part.
