Mortal Kombat 1 has finally been announced by NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games, who decided to reboot the popular universe and create a new timeline, which means there’s a lot to tell and a lot of origin stories ready to reveal.
Questioned by a fan about the origin of Mileena, created by Shang Tsun in previous timelines, Boon replied that the origin of this character, and that of many others, will be told in the Story Mode of Mortal Kombat 1, which will arrive on September 19th to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Boon, the main responsible for the series, says that this Mortal Kombat 1 will include many things related to the origin of these characters in its Story Mode, since the universe has been restarted and there are new versions of the famous fighters of the series.
