Interestingly, the company until 2030 undertakes to completely abandon the production of cars with internal combustion engines. But until that key date, both the hatchback and the new crossover will be offered in petrol and diesel markets.
New Mini Cooper
The new electric Cooper is available in two configurations. The basic version of the machine is equipped with an 181 hp electric motor. With it, the car can accelerate from standstill to 100 km / year in 7.3 seconds and travel 305 km with a fully charged battery with a capacity of 40.7 kW / h.
A more powerful version with an electric motor for 215 k.s. provides an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / year in 6.7 seconds, and a battery with a capacity increased to 54.2 kW / h guarantees a range of up to 402 km. Mini has yet to reveal pricing for the new Cooper. European sales of new items will start in the spring of 2024, at the same time the model will probably appear in Ukraine.
New Mini Countryman
The third generation of the crossover will also be available in two electric versions. The new Countryman is 4429 mm long. This is 13 cm more than its predecessor. In addition, the car has become 6 cm taller and slightly wider.
The British automaker notes that the new Countryman is the largest Mini ever made. Trunk volume has increased by 55 liters and is 460 liters.
Fans of the brand will be offered two electrical modifications of the novelty. The initial version of the Countryman E has a 201 hp electric motor. This is enough for the car to accelerate from standstill to 100 km / h in 8.6 seconds. Countryman SE ALL4 equipped with a pair of electric motors with a total return of 308 “forces”. Regardless of the version, a traction battery with a capacity of 64.7 kW / h is installed on the car, which is enough to overcome 462 km on a single charge.
