New millionaire in New York: $2,000,000 Powerball winning ticket sold in the Big Apple

Luck arrived in New York the day before Thanksgiving.

The Powerball drawing for Wednesday, November 22 left a winner of 2,000,000 dollars.

The winning numbers of the draw were 20,24,33,39,42 and Powerball 21.

According to data from the New York lottery the ticket was sold on Long Island.

The winner bought the ticket at Lindy’s Card & Gift store at 20 Jericho Turnpike in Jericho.

There were also million-dollar prizes that were sold in California, Florida, North Carolina and Oregon.

The total for next Saturday’s draw is 340 million dollarsso the winner would be taking home a sum close to 156 million dollars.
