New mid-range smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G

ZTE today launched the new Axon 11 5G smartphone. It is a mid-range smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G as SoC. As you can see, the eponymous 5G is on board. And yes, LTE Band 20 is also supported, so that the device, which was initially only presented for Asia, could also be interesting as an import. Maybe the launch in Europe is approaching.

The ZTE Axon 11 5G looks very chic in the pictures, but uses a small notch for the display and the edges fall off on the sides – this curved design is not exactly my case. As a highlight, the manufacturer also highlights the quad main camera, which operates with 64 (wide angle f / 1.89) + 8 (ultra wide angle f / 2.2) + 2 (depth sensor f / 2.4) + 2 (macro f / 2.4) megapixels. The front camera is a bit more common and uses 20 megapixels at an aperture of f / 2.0.

The ZTE Axon 11 5G comes with Android 10 preinstalled with the MiFavor 10 cover. The ZTE Axon 11 5G comes in black and measures 159.2 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm with a weight of 168 grams. The display? You get an AMOLED screen with 6.47 inches in 19.5: 9 format with a resolution of FHD + (2,340 x 1,080 pixels). It is obviously a 60 Hz display.

The battery of the ZTE Axon 11 holds 4,000 mAh and can be brought back to life via 18-watt quick charge. The storage space can also be expanded via microSD. Other features include Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Hi-Res Audio and a fingerprint scanner directly on the display. In addition, the smartphone supports DTS: X, even if this is rather pointless for a mobile device.

The ZTE Axon 11 with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space in China is said to cost around 355 euros. If you want 8 GB plus 128 GB, you should pay around 395 euros. Finally, you can increase to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB capacity. Then the equivalent of about 447 euros.
