The well-known Metro series from the Ukrainian studio 4A Games could see the official presentation of a new installment tomorrow at the State of Play event. Except for an insider with a nickname oftentimes nick the upcoming reveal of the game is also mentioned by a well-known leaker Kurakasis. He also states that the new part will be focused on VR and will be subtitled Awakening. But in another tweet, Kurakasis states that he doesn’t know at the moment if it will be a purely VR title.
If the game was indeed announced at State of Play, some form of exclusivity for the PlayStation VR2 headset is expected. It is also worth noting that the studio 4A Games already in the past brought the VR shooter Arktika.1, which was released in 2017 on the Oculus Rift. In the case of the new Metro, it would not be the team’s first VR title.
