We would like to inform you that the Akita Northern Happinets have reached an agreement with Javier Carter on a player contract for the B.LEAGUE 2023-24 season.

Carter is scheduled to play this weekend, starting with the match against the Shinshu Brave Warriors, which will be held at White Ring on December 2nd (Saturday) and December 3rd (Sunday).

I am happy to be able to return to Akita and contribute to the team as a player to increase our winning percentage.
We will fight every game and work hard to become one of the top clubs in the B League.

As many of you may know, Carter has been with the Akita Northern Happinets for two seasons since the 2019-20 season and has played four seasons in the B League. He is a player who is familiar with the characteristics of the B League and the basketball style of the Akita Northern Happinets.
In addition to his high-percentage outside shooting ability, he is also physically capable of showing off his body on the inside, rebounds, and will be able to compensate for areas where the team is currently struggling with dedication.
Some of the Japanese players were former teammates with Carter when he was with the team, and we hope that they will build team chemistry and contribute to the team from the time they joined.
