Allegedly the Dead Space renovation is already underway Electronic Arts oversight, and this could also be a sign that the publisher is seeing money in single-player games.
According to rumors, formerly Jade Raymond (ex-Ubisoft [Assasin’s Creed], ex-Stadia, now at MotSt (Star Wars: Squadrons), founded at PlayStation Studios by the founding CEO of Haven Studios, is working on the renovation of Dead Space. Jeff Grubb, who writes for VentureBeat wrote, but his credibility is questionable (since he has often voiced that Starfield is coming in 2021, before Microsoft refuted and announced the November 2022 start).
According to him, in connection with Dead Space, Motive ripped a couple of pages from Capcom’s book because their Resident Evil remakes were not financially failing products for the Japanese label. Like the Resident Evil 2 Remake, the revamped release of Dead Space will use the original game as a strong foundation, but the visuals will be modern and there’s a good chance the new game mechanics inspired by the rest of the franchise will get into the remake as well.
Grubb speculates that the Dead Space project a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the publisher realized that it might have to reconsider its earlier statement (repeatedly openly stated that the focus was on live-service, live-service games), which justified a reduction in resources for single-game titles after Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst wasn’t that successful. The DICE was behind the game and then the Star Wars: Battlefront II it was an even bigger disaster at the time of its release, but in the form of a service, the studio was able to patch up the game over time (which, due to the impact of the first impression, didn’t draw everyone’s attention again).
A Dead Space remake not yet officially announced. The unveiling is said to take place during the EA Play Live broadcast in three weeks. Until then, everything we have described should not be fully believed.
