New Mazda crushed on the street: this time it looks like a BMW, a killer sedan – QuattroMania

Recently spied testing in Germany, the EZ-6 will debut in European spec next fall with minimal styling changes from the model that debuted in China. The styling is similar to the Deepal SL03 sedan pickupcombining classic Mazda design with a more Asian feel. The Mazda EZ-6 is, for now, a China-exclusive model. With the duties, many programs for the manufacturers of the Rising Sun and Land of the Red Dragon are changing.

Mazda will export to Europe, despite an import tariff of 10% which could reach up to 35.3% in the near future. EU member states will vote to raise import tariffs on September 25, 2024 to control a seemingly unstoppable rise from the East. Chinese competitors, in particular, are scary and they could completely swallow our internal market. That is why manufacturers are making agreements with Asian brands.

Mazda, a new sedan on the road

The new version of the EZ-6 has been spied around with a retractable trunk lid spoiler. In the camouflaged protocol there are also black painted alloys shaping relatively small brake rotors and calipers. With the lighter battery electric version with 1,855 kg on the scales the car also guarantees adequate flexibility. ANThe Mazda EZ-6 will develop 255 horsepower in the tap version. In contrast, the rear electric motor of the EREV puts out slightly less, or 215 horsepower. The CLTC range estimate for the BEV is 600 kilometers or 373 miles in old money, while the EREV could top 1,000 km or 621 miles before stopping at a gas station. The Mazda EZ-6 is a shorter version of the Volkswagen ID.7 sedan. Changan Mazda claims 4,921 millimeters, while the VW sedan measures 4,961 millimeters. The car looks very sporty in terms of silhouette. We will have to wait to find out all the data on performance and consumption, as well as the final price. The only thing certain is that it will reach the Old Continent before the end of the year.
