Now the UBS Implementers Forum, the group that reviews the USB standard, has released new logos that will make it easier to understand whether a cable or charger can reach up to 240 watts.
Previously, USB-C chargers and cables were rated to reach 65 or 100 watts, while the latest version of the charging technology, which was released in May, has raised the level to 240 watts.
However, there is no requirement to use the new logos, which may mean that smaller USB-c manufacturers choose to ignore it. However, the logos will be visible to all manufacturers who have proper certification.
