The intendant –Andres Watson– participated in the online presentation of financial offers for small and medium-sized companies in the field culinary in its process of adaptation to the service in open spaces: infrastructure, heating and supplies. In this way, the communal chief announced the new lines of credit for the gastronomic sector in Florencio Varela.
“Since the beginning of the pandemic, with the provincial and national government, we have sought as many tools as possible to help the sector,” said Watson.
“The productive reconstruction of the country will come from the hand of industry and commerce, great generators of genuine employment,” said the Mayor and later added: “The public and the private must feed back, there is no one without the other.”

Meanwhile, the president of the Reciprocal Guarantee Society “Garantizar” -Gabriel González- highlighted the financial assistance provided by the State from the health emergency to accompany these activities so “punished by the epidemiological situation.”
This new line aimed at bars and restaurants, “was worked in conjunction with the Ministry of Productive Development and the National Bank,” González explained.
It sought to facilitate access to heating supplies, enclosures and ventilation for the reconfiguration of its outdoor spaces. The loans offered affordable terms and a discount in rates.
The Secretary of Government -Christian Rodríguez-, his partner from Industry and Productive Development -Ricardo de la Fuente-, representatives of local Chambers of Commerce and gastronomic merchants also participated in the online session.
