For the first time in the northern part of the Lower Rhine, the elected district representatives of the Lower Rhine District Seniors’ Union met to elect their new leadership in the “Wacht am Rhein” hotel in Büderich. The 80 delegates came from the districts of Neuss, Viersen, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, Wesel and Kleve. District chairman Theo Thissen was able to welcome the MEP Stefan Berger (Viersen) as well as from Cologne Wolfgang Gärtner, regional director and district chairman of the Senioren Union Mittelrhein (Bonn) as guests of honour.
