The delivery ceremony of the first degree certificates in Physiotherapy in Ascoli Piceno from the Polytechnic University of Marche was held at the Palazzo dei Capitani. “We wish our students to continue their life journey with enthusiasm – states the Rector Professor Gian Luca Gregori – aware of the skills acquired at the Polytechnic University of Marche. In our University students can find listening and support, merit, commitment and seriousness in studies find space here”. It was the Rector Gregorio who delivered the parchments, together with the graduation commission, to all twelve graduates of the session.
The new graduates attended an entirely Marche specialty: the course, inaugurated in 2021, has the aim of training healthcare professionals who carry out prevention, treatment and rehabilitation interventions, promoting the achievement of the maximum possible functioning of the individual in the presence of disabilities, in the field physical, psychological, social and occupational. However, it is not just theory: there are frequent laboratory activities and exercises included in the training plan. Specifically, the degree course pursues the application of more effective teaching models such as Service Learning: that is, actions of service and solidarity, active participation and protagonism of the student component, experimentation of skills, reflexivity and links with the territory (presence at public events like the 10 kilometers of Ancona). This is necessary training in a historical moment in which healthcare is once again at the center of public debate. “The centrality of the student is the basis of the frequent briefings to monitor the quality of training and collect ideas for further improvements in a spirit of continuous training, reasoning, constructive discussion and concrete actions in favor of the growth of our students, ready to train even at “abroad, thanks to numerous bilateral agreements with important European universities” say the Polytechnic University of Marche.
Thus ends, under the ceiling of the Palazzo dei Capitani, the studies of BorgognoniLorenzo, CeppetelliGianmarco, CipollaDavide, FratiniSamuele, GiambartolomeiElena, ManciaAndrea, MazzagufoFrancesco, MorbidoniDavide, NardiniLorenzo, RaimondiAndrea, RecanatesiNico and ScorrettiAlessia. There are twelve students who are the first to boast a degree of this type, offered together with numerous other courses and specialties, by the Polytechnic University of Marche on Piceno soil.
