A new landslide occurred on Thursday night at kilometer 60 of the Chimaltenango Bypass, which occupies the four lanes of that route, completely blocking the circulation of vehicles in the place.
The relief forces worked last night to verify that no person was left under the rubble, so that injuries or vehicles trapped in the collapse were later ruled out.
Through Twitter, the Libramiento de Chimaltenango account reported that Constructora Nacional SA had activated its protocol in response to the removal and cleaning of the materials that fell on the road.
In addition, they indicated that they were in communication with the General Directorate of Roads of the Ministry of Communications, Infrastructure and Housing.
