NEW JERSEY — New Jersey Transit riders are experiencing delays during rush hour Tuesday due to a minor derailment, the agency announced on its website.
The agency reported that train service to and from Penn Station New York is suspended and train service is being diverted to Hoboken. Midtown DirectIn addition, tickets are being accepted for Path from any of its stations and other types of transportation such as buses.
“Rail service to and from Penn Station New York is suspended due to a minor low-speed derailment at Penn Station New York. Midtown Direct service will be rerouted to Hoboken. NJ TRANSIT Rail tickets and passes are being accepted by PATH in Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd St-NY and on NJ TRANSIT buses and private carriers”, it reads on the page.
