The New Jersey Devils tied the franchise record in the National Hockey League (NHL) with a 13th straight win. On Tuesday night, the Devils defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-2. The previous record dates back to the 2000/01 season, when the team reached the Stanley Cup Final.
Even the Boston Bruins don’t need much for a record. After beating the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-3, they are just two wins away from setting up the best start to a season in their history with 19 wins in their first 21 games. The Bruins last did it 93 years ago.
