DAS Indonesia Motor officially introduced their newest compact SUV, the New Jeep Compass. This car plays in the premium SUV segment and will compete with European cars such as the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLC, and Volkswagen Tiguan. The New Jeep Compass can also compete with Japanese SUVs such as the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in the SUV segment with a price range of Rp 600-700 million.
For information, the latest Jeep Compass is claimed to have been developed with improved quality finishing and sophisticated interior technology which also introduces new key features that take it to a higher level in terms of design, technology and functionality.

For those who don’t know, the Jeep Compass first launched globally in 2017. The arrival of this car marks the return of the Jeep brand to the compact SUV segment and is the first Jeep model specifically designed to enter the global market.
“Jeep’s global product strategy is in line with the Indonesian market, where the SUV (market) segment is growing drastically, especially for all-around cars with economical fuel consumption and modern technology in it,” continued Dhani.
DAS Indonesia Motor will present the highest trim in the Jeep Compass lineup, the Limited trim, with advanced features and a claimed economical fuel consumption and the latest technological profile, while maintaining a design that is renowned for being sophisticated and urban friendly.

The Jeep Compass is touted as having an ‘all-new cabin interior’, which is designed to increase in-cab comfort and make the urban driving experience smarter.
Highlights include a 10.25-inch full-HD digital instrument cluster panel and the Uconnect 5 system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen that has been moved to the center of the dashboard in a higher position, so the driver can stay focused on the road. The Uconnect 5 system also features a five times faster processor with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless integration, natural voice recognition, and Uconnect Services.
The new Jeep Compass is equipped with a MultiAir turbo petrol engine, a 1.4 liter four-cylinder, which is combined with a 7-speed Dual Dry Clutch Transmission (DDCT) automatic transmission with front-wheel drive.
The interior has also been made more functional with a new center console setup and larger storage compartment space, with nearly 4.4 liters of additional storage – a triple increase over the 2.8 liters from the previous version, now with a total capacity of 7.2 liters.

In addition, the Jeep Compass is also claimed to offer a more modern and distinctive style, thanks to the new dashboard, center console, steering wheel and door panels, featuring premium materials and finishes.
