For information, Itel is a brand under the auspices of Transsion Holdings, a company from Shenzhen, China. Apart from Itel, Transsion also oversees the Tecno and Infinix brands.

On the day of its launch, Itel S23 can still be purchased at a promo price of IDR 1,349,000.
The Itel S23 has a 6.6-inch jumbo screen of the IPS LCD type with a 90Hz refresh rate like HP, class of Rp. 2-3 million. The screen frame is thin and carries a waterdrop design for an 8MP resolution selfie camera.
The main camera resolution is 50MP with the ‘Super Clear Image’ feature.
One of the attractions of this cellphone is the jumbo RAM capacity. You can choose between 4GB+4GB (total 8GB) or 8GB+8GB (total 16GB).
The battery is also mighty with a capacity of 5,000 mAh with an 18W fast charging feature. This cellphone is available in Mystery White (white) and Stary Black (black) colors.
Itel S23 will add to HP’s competition in the entry-level segment. The latest report from Counterpoint in Q1 2023 shows this segment grew 2% YoY, at a time when the mid to premium segment is still bleeding.
Infinix, which is Itel’s ‘brother’, recorded the highest growth of 44.6% YoY.
