If you want to share a YouTube video to another person via Snapchat social network, the technical team has made it easy for you. As was already the case with Apple Music, Twitter… the integration of YouTube videos is finally possible. A cooler way to share content.
Snapchat integrates with YouTube and vice versa
Snapchat’s last two “big” updates were well done. The first, published at the very beginning of the year, added a new style for voice messages, polls, bitmoji reactions… The second, more recent, offered the possibility of changing your nickname once a year, a functionality expected for years.
To launch this month of April, the social network announcement support for YouTube videos. Concretely, when you are on YouTube and want to share the video of your choice with one of your friends or in your story on Snapchat, just click on the “share” icon then that of the little ghost on a yellow background .
From there, the Snap app will launch and create the link that redirects to the video in addition to displaying the cover image and title. For those who frequently use the application, it’s exactly the same as with Twitter or Apple Music. As the blog post explains, you no longer need to do the classic copy/paste.
Note that after several tests on our side, it does not yet work perfectly. It sometimes happens that this displays an error message, in this case, do not hesitate to try again two or three times in a row.
