-Ahmedabad: Two new teams have been added to the Indian Premier League BCCI Decision at Annual General Body Meeting. There are currently eight teams in the IPL. From 2022 it will become ten teams. The crucial decision was taken at a meeting in Ahmedabad.
The BCCI has also decided to support the ICC’s demand that cricket be included in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. It is suggested that cricket be included in the T20 format. The proposal has been put before the International Olympic Committee.

Earlier, it was reported that 2 teams may be included in the 2021 IPL itself. However, the BCCI has decided that this will be possible in a year ‘s time. Kovid 19 will provide decent compensation to all first-class players who suffered during the crisis. It will be available for both male and female players.
Local cricket in India will start in January 2021. Cricket matches have not been played in India since the Kovid crisis began. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy will be held in January. Senior Congress leader Rajiv Shukla has been elected BCCI vice-president.
