Rumors have recently surfaced that Apple is preparing its iPad Mini generation launch this fall. The main changes are a bigger screen, more efficiency in terms of performance and a thinner frame.
Initially, the launch of iPad mini 2021 was planned for March during Apple’s WWDC 2021 event, but according to MacRumors, September was the month chosen for the launch.
A Bloomberg notices that the new iPad Mini 6 will have a screen of 8.4 inches, an increase over the current 7.9 inches. As for its design, it will show similarities with the iPad Air, launched last year in September.
Analyst Jon Prosser says the processor will be the new A14 chip. This new device will be available in three different colors: black, silver and gold. The new iPad mini will be the 6th generation of the tablet, after adding, in 2019, support for the Apple Pencil stylus and a faster A12 processor.
One of Apple’s next bets will be the launch of the new iPad Pro that charges wirelessly.
It is advanced that Apple will include a MagSafe system, also used in this new generation of iPhone, but it must also have the Thunderbolt port, so that it is accessible to all Apple fans.
Apple points out that wireless charging technology may still be included, in other words, in this way users can also charge smartwatches and smartphones from the technological giant.
An exact release date for the iPad mini 6 and the new iMac, which was created to replace the existing 27-inch model with Intel technology, has yet to be released. As time goes by, more and more details come to us and the expectation increases.
