September 14 is Apple’s big event, and according to rumors they could launch that day the new iPad (2021) along with the iPhone 13 and the Apple Watch 7.
This year they have already introduced an iPad, but it was the high-end one: the iPad Pro (2021), so it was not really aimed at the same type of audience. The iPad (2021) that we talk about in this article is the standard model, which also offers the best features that the new iPadOS 15 system will bring, while maintaining a lower price.
We could also know this same month of September in iPad mini 6, the company’s reduced-size tablet whose latest version went on sale in 2019, so it is time to renew.
The new (standard) iPad that we hope to see is the successor to the iPad 10.2 (2020), but we don’t know how big it will be. In fact, there have been rumors that the new model will have thinner bezels so that it is possible to increase the dimensions of the screen to 10.4 inches, while maintaining the same size of the device.
Although we are not sure if the new iPad (2021) will be presented on September 14, it is possible that it will, and therefore it is interesting that we review all the information available about the new device, so that you know what to expect. We can get an idea of the screen, power, price and other details that have been leaked, and you will find them all in this article.
We’ve also put together a wish list of what we’d like to see in the new iPad, to make it a successor to the iPad 10.2 (2020) worth buying.

Let’s get down to business
What are we talking about? Apple’s next (standard) iPad
When it goes on sale? Possibly September 14
How much will it cost? Apparently less than the previous one, maybe around € 353
iPad (2021): release date and price
We thought that the iPad would arrive between September and October 2021, and now that Apple has confirmed that it will hold an event on September 14, that is the day we hope to meet the iPad along with the iPhone 13 and the Apple Watch 7.
A leak on the price of the iPad suggested that it could be the cheapest of all we have seen so far, specifically there has been talk that in the US it would cost $ 299, which would be about € 253.
For comparison, the previous iPad went on sale in the US for $ 329, so this year the price would be a little lower.
Of course, here in Spain they always cost more than the conversion to euros of the price in dollars, for example, if in 2020 the iPad cost 329 dollars, here it would be about € 279, but the reality was that its price was € 379. So to give a figure closer to what the next iPad (2021) could cost in Spain we will say that about € 353.
We have also heard that the price of the iPad 2021 would be “consistent” with that of 2020, and in a way this coincides with the previous leak.
