Why change something that works. Samsung will likely follow this saying too, at least in the case of the upcoming Galaxy S23 flagship model series. This was stated by a well-known leaker Ice universe, which brought a lot of new information about the future successors of the current flagships in the portfolio of the Korean company. They boast not only high performance and top technologies, but also relatively compact dimensions.
Where no change should occur is the display size and resolution used, which should be identical between generations. In the case of the dimensions themselves, the change should already take place, but according to Ice Universe it will be adjustments in the order of tenths of a millimeter. You can see the changes in the table below:
Galaxy S22 | Galaxy S23 | Galaxy S22 + | Galaxy S23 + | Galaxy S22 Ultra | Galaxy S23 Ultra | |
Resolution (pixels) | 1 080 × 2 340 | 1 080 × 2 340 | 1 080 × 2 340 | 1 080 × 2 340 | 1 440 × 3 088 | 1 440 × 3 088 |
Dimensions (mm) | 146.0 × 70.6 × 7.6 | 146.3 × 70.9 × 7.6 | 157.4 × 75.8 × 7.64 | 157.8 × 76.2 × 7.6 | 163.3 × 77.9 × 8.9 | 163.4 × 78.1 × 8.9 |
As for the parameters, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will most likely offer a 200Mpx main camera, a larger fingerprint reader and the same battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh and support for charging at 45W. The 10x periscope lens will also be retained. Likewise, the telephoto lenses of the lower models are likely to have identical parameters.
Don’t neglect
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will receive the 200MP camera and battery from its predecessor

As for the chipset, the exclusive use of a Qualcomm solution is speculated, but it remains to be seen whether Samsung will abandon its Exynos. The introduction of new flagship models traditionally takes place at the beginning of the year and we currently have no indication that this time around should be any different.
