Zbigniew Ziobro is undergoing therapy related to the treatment of cancer and its complications. As Sovereign Poland MEP Beata Kempa told “Fakt”, the health situation of the leader of her party “is not the best”.
– The minister will probably have to undergo another procedure due to the complications that occurred – she said. Another representative of the party, Marcin Warchoł, revealed more details about the politician’s condition.

He also emphasized that there was “no chance” for Zbigniew Ziobro to join the campaign before the European Parliament elections. – He is absolutely concerned with his health and that is the first thing – he noted.

Zbigniew Ziobro has not participated in public life since the beginning of December. The politician is fighting esophageal cancer, which has spread to other organs. Due to the extraordinary situation, the duties of the president of Sovereign Poland were taken over by MEP Patryk Jaki for an indefinite period.
After a long break, the former Minister of Justice appeared in front of the cameras on March 26, when his home was searched by prosecutors as part of a case regarding irregularities in the Justice Fund supervised by his ministry.
– Within a month, I lost 10 kilograms, very severe pain appeared in the sternum area behind my back and I had an increasing problem with my voice, which had been a problem for me for years – said Zbigniew Ziobro on Polsat News on Thursday, March 28, giving the first interview after a break from public life.
