The entire Czechia held its breath when information emerged last week that the singer Marta Kubišová (79) had to be urgently hospitalized. The music icon’s manager Petr Větrovský revealed to TN.cz how the singer is doing and what she is thinking about.
On Friday, Marta Kubišová was operated on due to an acute intestinal rupture. When the singer was transported to the hospital, however, it was said to be a matter of minutes. Her fans hoped that Kubišová would be in shape as soon as possible.
According to her manager Petr Větrovský, the singer is doing well and is already thinking about work. “I am in contact with Marta Kubišová by phone. When I called her, her first words were: ‘Peter, don’t worry, I’ll catch up with the Night with the Legend tour.’ At the same time, I wasn’t worried about the tour, but rather about her,” Větrovský admitted to TN.cz.
”It already showed me that she’s thinking positively. She’s a responsible person in any situation, so the tour was probably one of the first things on her mind in terms of her work life. I’m in touch with her daughter and family friends and I know that she is doing well and all recovery is going according to plan,” the tour promoter said calmly.
The singer was apparently suffering from some health problems already in June, when she unexpectedly had to leave the ceremony at which she officially became an honorary citizen of Prague. At that time, it was said that too much heat was behind her indisposition.
