Travel organizations do everything they can to bring back people who are in the ‘new’ orange holiday countries sooner if they want to. But the phone is not ringing off the hook, they report. It is midnight travel advice tightened for Brussels, Paris, Marseille and the surrounding area, Mallorca, Ibiza and a number of regions in Spain.
People who are on holiday with a package holiday are informed by the travel organization. They can choose to finish their vacation or return earlier. On the spot it will be examined whether it might also be possible to move to a hotel in a yellow area, says the ANVR. “It concerns thousands of travelers, it cannot all be arranged in one day.”
New trips to these areas are canceled. People who have booked a trip are informed and receive a voucher or their money back. It is also possible to postpone the trip or to rebook it to another destination.
