Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Anastasia Mikova visited 2,000 women from 50 different countries for their documentary film project “Woman” and immortalized them in their film. The women tell their touching, remarkable and stimulating stories, talking about motherhood, education, sexuality, marriage or financial independence, and about taboo subjects such as menstruation and domestic violence. Hundreds of stories come together, from heads of state and farmers, from beauty queens and bus drivers, stories from women from the most remote regions of the world and from the most modern metropolises.
