Pushilin also reported on September 22 an important exchange of prisoners of war with Kiev. According to Yermak, some women were illegally detained in some areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and closed long before the full-scale Russian invasion began.
“People have been in jail since 2019 in pseudo-republics for an extremely pro-Ukrainian position, which amounted to delivering humanitarian aid to orphaned children, invented ‘espionage’ and ‘terrorism’,” Yermak added.
Released from Russian captivity will undergo medical examination and rehabilitation.
