new images show some familiar locations

The progress of the filming of HBO’s The Last of Us never ceases to amaze: a few days ago we saw how the actual location of Canmore, Alberta was beginning to become Jackson County from The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part 2. Now we have new images showing how their transformation has evolved … and it is amazing what they are doing.

Although HBO’s The Last of Us series has begun by telling the story of The Last of Us, it seems that they have opted for build Jackson’s camp most similar to The Last of Us Part 2. We remember that in The Last of Us they still lived in the nearby hydroelectric dam and the camp was a project. The series appears to be bringing together elements from both games. The new images, shared once again by The Last of Us Updates (@TheLastofUsNews), They have shown Places that will be familiar to fans of both games.

One of the most familiar locations are the greenhouses, which we saw in The Last of Us Part 2 and which have been recreated for the HBO series.

Also shown is construction of the wall, the main gate, the stables for the horses and other wooden buildings.

And finally the sign that officially confirms that we are in Jackson: “Welcome to Jackson“(Welcome to Jackson).

Video game fans will appreciate other familiar sites such as the wall and the bar where the famous dance between Ellie and Dina takes place. The large display and the large number of constructions may suggest that Jackson’s camp could be a place made for multiple episodes or recurring throughout the series. As we learn more about the plot we will know how important this point is.

We will continue pending any new information and of course to the new images of the shoot. We can’t wait to see the actors and actresses in action!
