Hyundai will soon launch the second generation of the Kona electric in France. New images of the model have been unveiled.
Just before Christmas, Hyundai unveiled the first official images of the second-generation Kona. The Korean, however, did not go into details, promising to do so in March. It will be the case, in a few days. But before knowing everything, to wait, the manufacturer has posted new images of the 100% electric version.
An important variation in France, because the Kona regularly appears in the ranking of the ten best-selling electric cars here. The second version will have almost unchanged technical characteristics. How do we know? Because the Kona remains a technical cousin of the Kia e-Niro, renewed at the start of 2022. This has a 204 hp block and a 64.8 kWh battery. The mixed WLTP autonomy will therefore always be around 450 km.

It is therefore the design that will evolve the most. The electric Hyundai Kona is once again original, with rough-hewn shapes, inspired by those of its big brother Tucson. Gimmicks from the first Kona have been retained, in particular the headlights and lights in the lower part, associated with the wheel arches.
However, the electric model is distinguished from the thermal versions by its wheel arches painted in body color. The shield is specific, for a smoother side. On the other hand, we find on all the variants the front and rear LED strips, with a pixel-like pattern, a nod to the Ioniq 5 and 6.
