“New Images of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout Series, Revealing Ghouls and Underground Shelters”

The large armored access door, obviously seen from afar, a photo of the control panel (the one to open a door with a Pip-Boy?) and books as well as a pre-war computer, which The Fallout Wiki identifies as the 1977 Wang 2246-C. But it is especially the third photo that disturbs Internet users. Because on this one, we can visibly see two characters, two residents of Vault 33, if we rely on the logo number. One of them is equipped with a Pip-Boy and is about to drink a Nuka-Cola, the other is a ghoul and smokes.

Fallout : a disturbing ghoul?

This is the first time the series Fallout reveals what these ghoul characters will look like directly. Internet users can’t decide whether, so far, they have succeeded or failed. And it is certainly far too early to say so, since the special effects have probably not been there yet. In the image, some Twittos point to a certain rigidity in the mask and make-up, especially in the neck, mouth and eyes. Others find this an interesting first step and that, even without post-production, this glimpse of a ghoul is satisfying.

In the game series Falloutghouls are full-fledged characters in the universe. They are mostly pre-war humans who couldn’t find their place in a shelter, and who were exposed to a high dose of radiation, causing them to physically mutate..
